Swim:

The Swim is in a 25m pool; you will complete all the lengths in one lane. The swim will start and finish in the shallow end of the pool you will exit the pool at the far end through the fire exit

Bike:

The bike is on a grass terrain at the back of the leisure centre and will be on the higher part of the fields.

HELMETS ARE COMPULSORY – NO HELMET, NO RACE

Chin straps must be done up before you unrack your bike, and not unstrapped until you bike is reracked on your return – failure to comply will result in a penalty being issued by the race official.

Run:

The run will again be on a grass terrain at the back fo the leisure centre and will be on the lower part of the fields.

Transition

All racking is numbered – your position will correspond with your race number issued at registration. Please rack your bike in the correct place and with respect for other competitors. Only competitors are allowed in transition, we will disqualify anyone caught taking a partner or helper into this area. Please remember even in you have finished, others are still racing, so do not stay in transition any longer than you need to.

Please ensure you understand where the bike in/out and run out are before starting the race.

Please note - Transition Marshals will not let you take your bike out of transition unless these numbers match. Finally, a marshal will write your race number on your left arm and leg.
