Local Synchronised Superstar selected for Team GB!

 Hart Swim Cub swimmer, Imogen Smith, has not been seen

 around the leisure centre much recently and there is a very

 good reason for this. Imogen also trains as a synchronised

 swimmer and in January she was selected to be in the GB

 Synchronised Swimming Squad!

 As Imogen is only 14 years old and currently studying in

 year 9 at school she will be training part time,  7am-9am

 most mornings and 7am-5pm Friday & Saturday! 

 On top of this rigorous schedule Imogen is still attending

 her usual Hart Swim Club training sessions in the evenings

 and on Sundays.

 Additionally Imogen’s busy schedule won’t stop there as

 she will have to train fulltime over the summer holidays too!

 It’s been straight in at the deep end for a very busy first six months.

 Imogen still has commitments to the England Squad and is competing

 in Croatia in June.  The first stop off on Imogen’s Summer European Tour

 is Poland in May swiftly followed by traveling to Barcelona to the

 Senior World Championship where she will train with the Spanish Junior

 Squad.  The autumn will bring a warm weather training camp and a

 competition in Sweden with more info to be announced soon.

 A big well done to Imogen in achieving such a fantastic honor at such

 a young age, we wish you all the best for your future achievements!
